About Me:

The Face Behind The Jewelry Pliers

Hi, I’m Ellie Ransom (she/they). Thank you so much for supporting my small business! I create every piece with joy for you.

Based in Washington, D.C., my day job is at a nonprofit serving immigrant youth. My free time is full of beads, chains, and superglue! I’ve been creating art in practically every medium since I could hold a paintbrush. I adore crafting and filmmaking, and dream of being a Creative Director. Camp Wonderland is all about being playful, colorful and fun. I hope my creations bring you joy and inspire you to show the world more love!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • I pack each order with care and hand-deliver it to the post office. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a notification email with the tracking number. You can track your order status through the USPS website. If your order is marked as delivered but you haven’t received it, please contact me so I can request more information from the courier.

  • If your piece(s) arrive damaged or break soon after, please reach out so we can find the best solution regarding replacements or refunds. Otherwise, all Camp Wonderland sales are final. I handmake each piece, and as a one-person team, I don’t have the time and resources to resell sold pieces.

  • If your piece(s) arrive broken or in poor condition, please email me at campwonderlandshop@gmail.com or DM me on Instagram or Facebook @campwonderlandshop. I appreciate images of the damage, which are helpful for reporting a claim to the USPS. Depending on the situation and severity of damage, I can refund you or send a replacement piece.

  • Fuck corporate pride, buy gay shit directly from gay people. I’m a lesbian.

  • The felt cowgirl/cowboy hats have an inner circumference of ~ 22 inches, with outer dimensions of ~ 15 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 5 inches high.

  • I get my supplies from thrift stores, craft stores, sellers on AliExpress, Etsy, eBay, and Depop, and other independent bead shops.

  • I make all of my pieces uniquely or in small collections. I’m happy to make custom orders, including remaking sold-out pieces. Please email me at campwonderlandshop@gmail.com or DM me @campwonderlandshop what you’d like remade, and any alterations or preferences. I may not be able to recreate the piece exactly, as I often use thrifted materials or have limited supplies. Regardless, I guarantee that the remake will be just as magical as the original.

Why Camp Wonderland?

Welcome to Camp Wonderland, the summer camp for everyone. It’s the feeling of you and your favorite people eating s’mores by a bonfire. It’s music, laughter, messy paint, scrapbooking, and friendship bracelets off of water bottles. When you wear my creations, I hope that you play, dance, craft, imagine, question, and explore. I hope you feel like a kid and know that you’re stunning. I hope you feel confident and uniquely true to yourself!
